Tidewater Physical Therapy is proud to sponsor the annual “Lift-a-Thon” Aug. 10 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Wolfgangs’ Gym in Richmond at 3516 Courthouse Road.
Lifting takes place at HIGH NOON!
The two main events include a deadlift and a raw bench press competition.
The event, which helps support the Wounded Warrior Project, includes a fee for participants and spectators.
To participate in one event, it’s $35 in advance or $55 at the door. Participate in both events for $45 in advance or $65 at the door.
Children under 3 are free to watch. Children 4 to 15-years-old are $2 and teenagers and adults are $5.
All day family-friendly activities include a push-up competition, jump rope, face painting, moon bounce, fire truck, Zumba dance instruction, an antique car show, silent auction, raffle and cookout.

Tidewater Physical Therapy’s own Midlothian location Clinical Director Shawna Pringle, PT, DPT will be on site. Pringle, who treats a variety of conditions including orthopaedic and neurological, sports and work-related injuries, is a national fitness competitor. She enjoys sharing her knowledge of personal training with her patients and the community.
