Dana Baratz, PTA has always been one to want to help people. She enjoys helping someone regain the ability to function in everyday activities. Originally from Virginia Beach, Dana obtained her PTA license from South University. Her philosophy is to build a trusting connection while providing a nurturing and motivational plan of treatment helping the patient meet their fullest potential and daily living goals. She pushes to provide an upbeat and motivating treatment plan with an environment that never gets old or boring. “I believe in treatment with a smile and lots of laughs”, she says.
Dana enjoys treating patients who have a desire to live and function to their utmost abilities. She feels that there is nothing more rewarding than to have a patient re-acquire their previous way of living. She is rewarded by smiles and hugs from patients when they have completed their therapy, and is comforted in knowing that she’s helped them improve their life.
When she is not in the clinic, you can find Dana busy doing outdoor activities such as hiking, biking, zip lining, paddle boarding, going to movies, plays, concerts, amusement parks, and traveling.
