Alex Martin, PTA received his Bachelor’s degree in Sports Management from Clemson University, where he also was a pitcher on the university baseball team. He went on to complete his Physical Therapy Assisting program through ECPI Medical Careers Institute. He also has an American College of Sports Medicine personal training certification.
Alex chose his profession after having suffered a variety of injuries that required physical therapy. He believes that the therapy improved his quality of life after each incident. He also has a passion of helping people and being able to change lives. Alex feels that the manual techniques used during treatment are the backbone to finding the true cause of injury and building a proper exercise program.
When he’s not in the Westhampton clinic, you can find Alex in the gym where he practices in Olympic lifting, CrossFit, and bodybuilding. He also enjoys relaxing and having fun with his wife and 3 dogs.
