Emily Naret PT, DPT a native to Richmond, stayed in the area to complete her undergraduate degree in Kinesiology from University of Virginia. She then continued on to receive her doctorate degree in Physical Therapy from Virginia Commonwealth University.
Her path to becoming a physical therapist started in high school after Emily suffered an injury. Through the experience she realized how valuable physical therapy can be when it comes to helping people return to their normal daily and recreational activities.
“My goal is to have every patient leave me feeling better than they did when they came in. My aim is also to have every patient feel independent with their exercises and symptom management at home.”
Emily enjoys helping any patient that is willing to work hard to get better and strives to help her patients achieve their personal goals.
When she is outside the clinic, you can find her at home or with her friends. She enjoys hiking, running, playing soccer, and playing trivia.
Emily lives by the advice, do what you love and it will never feel like work.
