Calla Selfridge, PT, DPT, CMTPT a Richmond native, completed her undergraduate degree at the University of Richmond in 2004. In 2009, she completed Physical Therapy school at Shenandoah University. Having previously worked in our Brandermill Clinic, Calla is excited to rejoin the Tidewater team at the Gloucester location.
Calla enjoys treating patients with chronic pain, hypermobility, and athletes. She particularly enjoys working with swimmers as she was a division 1 swimmer at the University of Richmond. While a comprehensive therapist, Calla enjoys treating neck and back pain or injury using manual therapy. She is also certified in Dry Needling.
Her passion for becoming a physical therapist stems from her love of helping people and seeing that her patients return to their activities pain free. “I believe that accurate initial and ongoing assessments over the course of the patient’s treatment plan allow for the most appropriate treatment interventions which maximize the patient’s success.”Calla says.
Outside of the office, Calla enjoys spending time with her family and friends, playing with her dog, and going to the beach.
