Amy Seraydarian , PT, DPT was raised in Virginia Beach, VA and obtained her Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Old Dominion University in May of 2012.
Amy says becoming a physical therapist was “written in the stars” for her. When she was a child, her father had two reconstructed knees and a total hip replacement. She watched him through the entire recovery process.
As a therapist, Amy loves being able to combine health and wellness through various holistic techniques. Using this way of thinking, she loves to treat shoulder injuries. She also has a special interest in Geriatrics and manual therapy.
Amy stays pretty active when she’s not in the clinic. You will usually find her doing hot yoga, barre, paddle boarding or in the gym. She also loves running with her husband and playing with their Maltese puppies.
Amy holds a Direct Access Certification through the Virginia Board of Physical Therapy allowing her to evaluate and treat patients without a prescription. As part of your healthcare team, Amy will make an assessment of your condition and create a plan to start you on the road to wellness.
