Hidenwood Clinic in Newport News Opens New Location

Same great care. New location.

That’s the motto of Tidewater Physical Therapy’s Hidenwood clinic in Newport News this month as it celebrates its move into a new clinic.

“Being dedicated to clinical excellence – Tidewater’s core mission statement – goes beyond treatment techniques,” said Hidenwood Clinical Director Ken Morris, PT, DPT, CMTPT. Morris works with patients alongside Sarah Zeisler, PT, DPT and Katrin Gardarsdottir, LPTA, Cert. CDT.

“It includes all those things, of course, but it also means treating patients in a clinical setting that works for them with upgraded private treatment rooms, a spacious gym and more. We’re excited to be in our new space and to welcome old and new patients to it.”

The Hidenwood clinic, now located at 12494 Warwick Boulevard in Newport News across from Todd Stadium and near Christopher Newport University, remains conveniently situated near downtown Newport News and near many of the city’s hospital systems, primary care physicians and orthopedic surgeons.

“Our location make it easy for patients to receive their physical therapy treatments in a place near where they live, work and play,” Morris said.

The Hidenwood clinic continues to offer comprehensive physical therapy services to include pediatric orthopedic and neurological therapy, dry needling, cancer after care, vestibular rehabilitation, lymphedema therapies ad treatment, orthotics and balance and fall prevention programs.

The clinic is open Monday from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m., Tuesday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., Wednesday and Friday from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m., and Thursday from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m.

The Tidewater Physical Therapy team will communicate with a patient’s physician or dentist of record and obtain a referral, if necessary, for continued treatment.
