PT Profile: Rebecca Rodgers
Rebecca “Becky” Rodgers, LPTA graduated from the Physical Therapist Assistant program at John Tyler Community College and earned her license to practice in 1997.
She is an active member of the American Physical Therapy Association and has worked in the outpatient orthopedic setting for 13 years, joining Tidewater Physical Therapy in 2007. She treats patients at the Colonial Heights clinic near Richmond.
Becky strives for excellence in patient treatment while purposing to give personalized care to each patient as an individual. She treats with a genuine love for her profession and the opportunity to provide hands on help to people. Special treatment interests and professional development areas include: shoulder injury/post op rehabilitation, balance training/neuromuscular re-education, as well as manual therapy.
Becky is skilled in Sign Language and has enjoyed the privilege of working with hearing impaired patients and looks forward to further opportunities in the future. 
In her personal time, Becky enjoys family time with her husband, Jeff, and 3 children; music and theater; and mission service projects with her church family both locally and internationally. She assumes several leadership roles in her church including praise team vocalist and marriage mentoring/coaching along side her husband.

Knowing that complete recovery is more than just physical, I strive to demonstrate creativity, compassion and integrity while treating the ‘person’ and helping them achieve their maximum level of function and independence. My ongoing goal is to grow my level of knowledge and skill in order to give my patients the best care possible.”
