PT Profile: Melissa Ryman

Melissa Ryman, DPT, ATC received her undergraduate degree in Health Sciences from James Madison University in 2002 and her Doctorate of Physical Therapy from the Medical College of Virginia at Virginia Commonwealth University in 2005.

A sports medicine background has given her experience working in an orthopedic clinical setting, as well as on the field with athletes of various skill levels. She is a member of the American Physical Therapy Association and National Athletic Trainer’s Association.

Her hobbies include traveling with her husband, running, swimming, volleyball and cooking.

Melissa joined Tidewater Physical Therapy in 2007 and practices at the Laburnum clinic in Richmond.
