PT Profile: Kelly Campbell

Throughout college, Kelly Campbell helped rehabilitate injured birds of prey with the Humane Society and Southeastern Raptor Center.

“I discovered I have a passion for helping other creatures.”

Combine that passion with a positive physical therapy experience she had when she was 12 (she injured her shoulder swimming) and you have a Kelly Campbell turned doctor of physical therapy.

Kelly, a Newport News native and graduate of Woodside High School, graduated from the Medical College of Virginia in May 2010.

She came to Tidewater Physical Therapy, where she currently practices in the Laburnum physical therapy clinic outside of Richmond, because of Tidewater’s “great reputation, good people and friendly-fun atmosphere.”

Plus, Tidewater fit with her bedside manner, which she describes as “inquisitive, talkative, relaxed, friendly, empathetic.”

When she’s not in the clinic, Kelly spends time with her church community, Northside Church of Richmond.
