Delanie LeTard, PT, DPT believes that her job is to give the patients the tools necessary to achieve their goals. She does this by combining manual therapy and therapeutic exercise. “I believe that it is always to incorporate a combination of different treatments to better serve the patients”, she says.
Delanie received her Bachelor of Science degree in Kinesiology from University of Virginia. She went on to receive her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from Virginia Commonwealth University. She chose physical therapy as a profession because she enjoys helping people to achieve their goals. “I have always been interested in the medical field and I am passionate about exercise, so PT was a great fit”, she says. More specifically, she enjoys treating running related injuries as well as gait impairments and vestibular disorders.
An avid runner, you can usually find Delanie coaching for a local running group. She also loves to cook and spend time with her husband and family.
Delanie holds a Direct Access Certification through the Virginia Board of Physical Therapy allowing her to evaluate and treat patients without a prescription. As part of your healthcare team, Delanie will make an assessment of your condition and create a plan to start you on the road to wellness.
