Bruce Brewer, MS, PT received his Bachelor of Science degree in Health and Sport Science from the University of Richmond in 1993 and his Masters of Science in Physical Therapy from Regis University in Denver, Colorado in 1998. Today, he is the Clinical Director of Tidewater Physical Therapy’s Midlothian location in Richmond.

Bruce enjoys treating a wide variety of orthopedic conditions, but has special interest in spine and rib dysfunctions and sports injuries with emphasis on manual therapy techniques. He is certified in performing functional capacity evaluations and permanent impairment ratings which compliments his interest in work injury rehabilitation. He joined Tidewater Physical Therapy in 2003.

“Successful physical therapy hinges on an expert musculoskeletal evaluation,” Bruce said. ”From there, patient education is key, combined with a targeted exercise prescription and skilled manual therapy to progress patients toward their goals.”
