Anna Adkins, DPT received her undergraduate degree in Integrated Health Studies with a concentration in Health Sciences from Kent State University in 2008. She then earned her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from Ohio University in 2011. Today she practices at Tidewater Physical Therapy’s Powhatan clinic near Richmond.

Anna has a special interest in manual therapy techniques and treating back pain injuries. Anna believes that a combined approach of therapeutic exercise, manual therapy, and pain control with modalities is essential for maximal return to the patient’s prior level of function and mobility.

She is an active member of the American Physical Therapy Association.

In her spare time she enjoys hiking, traveling, and spending time with friends and family.
