John Scalici, PT >s Clinical Director for the co-located Magruder and Hampton Hand Therapy Center locations. John graduated with a BS in physical therapy from Stony Brook University in New York His experience in home health, orthopedic and special education settings has contributed to many of his innovative treatment techniques. He has more than 20 years of experience in the treatment and evaluation of orthopedic and neurological patients. Mr. Scalici specializes in an exercised based, functional treatment approach and utilizes a variety of manual treatment interventions to help patients achieve their goals.
In his spare time, John is an avid volunteer and regular supporter of many community fund raisers and health initiatives.
Beth Richardson,
MHEd, PT, CHT
who is a
certified hand therapist, received a bachelor of science in physical
therapy, and a master of health education in physical therapy. She has
been a practicing physical therapist since 1981 and has specialized in
hand therapy since 1984. Additionally, Ms. Richardson has served on the
faculty of the college of Health Sciences, at the Medical University of
South Carolina.
As a certified hand therapist, she is one of a limited number of
physical therapists who are certified as a hand therapist by the
American Society of Hand Therapists.
