
Paid Time Off
Time off of work helps you recharge and stay motivated, which is why we believe in offering employees the flexibility of Paid Time Off (PTO) for vacations, personal leave or illnesses.
Holidays
Eligible employees receive 6 paid holidays each year, giving you the flexibility to use your PTO for personal uses rather than for holidays. If a holiday falls on a Saturday, we close on Friday. If it falls on a Sunday, we close on Monday.
Leave of Absence
(Family Medical Leave, Jury Duty, Military)
In the course of employment, there may be times you need to be excused from work for medical reasons, jury duty or military commitments. We respect and honor those responsibilities and offer job protection to eligible employees when those situations arise.
Health Insurance
Our commitment is to you, your health and your family. Tidewater provides eligible employees and their family members with cost effective health benefits that offer the option of an HMO or PPO plan with a percentage of the premium paid for by us. As a part of the health insurance plan, coverage for vision services is provided.

Your vision is important to your health and is offered to employees as a part of the health insurance coverage.
Dental Insurance
Dental Insurance is an optional benefit available to eligible employees with or without choosing health insurance coverage.
Life Insurance
Tidewater provides group term life insurance and Accidental Death & Dismemberment (AD&D) coverage to all eligible employees at no cost, providing financial protection for your beneficiaries. Eligible employees are automatically enrolled in the group life insurance where Tidewater Physical Therapy pays 100% for coverage. Additional life insurance or AD&D may be purchased at competitive rates for yourself, spouse and dependents.
Short Term Disability
Tidewater offers the option to enroll in Short Term Disability coverage, which provides eligible employees financial protection for up to 13 weeks following a qualified disability.
Long Term Disability
Tidewater also provides income protection for eligible employees after 90 days of an absence due to a qualified disability. That coverage can continue up to age 65. This benefit is an automatic enrollment for qualified employees and is provided at no cost to the employee.
Flexible Spending Account
Flexible spending accounts offer the opportunity to setup a pre-tax account to pay for qualifying medical and/or dependent care expenses for you and eligible family members. Not only does it reduce your taxable income, but it also allows you to pay for those services with pre-tax dollars.
Legal Resources
Legal Resources is a comprehensive pre-paid legal service that provides courtroom representations, consultation, legal advice and negotiations for many legal needs.
Travel Assistance Program
As a part of the company provided life insurance plan, the Travel Connect program provides a 24-hour service focusing on travel, medical, and safety-related services while away from home.
401K Savings and Retirement
The 401K plan is designed to give you a simple, tax-effective option to save for retirement. While the plan is designated a Safe Harbor Plan, eligible employees who participate receive a generous dollar for dollar company match, up to 4% of their contributions, with immediate 100% vesting.
Continuing Education Funds
Commitment to continuing education not only includes Tuesday morning in-services for clinicians, but also further professional development. Tidewater sponsors in-house continuing education courses as well as funds clinicians who wish to seek out specialties and certifications. Tidewater Physical Therapy covers the cost of license renewal fees for our professionals, which are required, in order to allow them to continue providing the services needed for the patients in our community.

Employee Referral Program
Tidewater Physical Therapy can only provide great clinical care with great physical therapist. We recognize the importance of recruiting exceptional staff and when applicable offers a $1,000 referral bonus for Tidewater employees who refer a qualified Physical Therapist or Physical Therapist Assistant that is hired.
Service Awards
Rewarding those who have been employed with Tidewater Physical Therapy for their continuous service is an important part of showing how much we value loyalty and commitment. Starting with 5 years of service, and in 5 year increments, we reward those milestone anniversaries, not just around your anniversary date, but also at our annual company meetings.
