Debra Szalwinski, PT, Cert. MDT, received her physical therapy degree from the Medical College of Virginia in 1984, and joined Tidewater Physical Therapy in 1990. In the mid-1990’s Debra developed the Tidewater Physical Therapy Lymphedema Treatment Program and continues to be a leader and valuable resource in this specialized area. For more than 12 years, Ms Szalwinski was the Clinical Director for the Hidenwood office in Newport News, and in early 2006 began the development of a Tidewater Physical Therapy office in Smithfield. A Certified McKenzie therapist, she specializes in conditions of the cervical and lumbar spine.
