Gita Dhir, MS, MPT, received her undergraduate degree in biology in 1989, and Masters Degree in Applied Molecular Biology in 1993 from the University of Maryland. She worked in gene therapy research prior to taking a Master of Physical Therapy from Old Dominion University in 1996. Ms. Dhir has practiced in a variety of settings including in-patient rehab, home health and outpatient orthopedic clinics. She has a special interest in both the use of manual techniques for soft tissue and joint mobilization and in women’s health/pelvic floor rehabilitation.

Gita is the Clinical Director of the Kempsville office in Norfolk. She is an outdoor enthusiast and can be found involved in surfing, skiing, volleyball, camping and mountain biking in her free time.
