V. Kai Kennedy, DPT, Clinical Director

V. Kai Kennedy, PT, DPT received a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology from the University of Maryland in College Park and a Doctor of Physical Therapy from the Medical College of Virginia at Virginia Commonwealth University. She has worked in outpatient and sports medicine settings throughout Virginia and joined the team at Tidewater Physical Therapy in 2005. Kai’s treatment philosophy puts the patient first. She has a special interest in community education and preventive efforts. Kai is the Clinical Director at the Ironbridge office and an APTA credentialed Clinical Instructor who works closely with doctoral physical therapy students training in the clinic. In her free time, Kai loves to dance! You may also find her hiking, rollerblading, or reading.
