Wayne A. MacMasters, MS, PT, is the president and founder of Tidewater Physical Therapy, Inc. Mr. MacMasters, a practicing physical therapist, received an undergraduate degree from the College of William & Mary and his and his Masters degree in Physical Therapy from Duke University. In 1986, he opened the first Tidewater Physical Therapy location and continues as Regional Director for the organization's two Hampton offices: Executive Drive Clinic and Magruder Clinic.

For more than 18 years, Mr. MacMasters has been recognized by both the medical community and employer's alike for his expertise in work injury management and developing customized injury prevention and injury management systems to help employers win the battle for a healthy productive workforce and reduce the impact of work injuries to their organizations.

Mr. MacMasters leads the organizations worker's compensation services division, conducts functional capacity evaluations and permanent impairment ratings exams and serves as a consultant to local, regional and nationwide employers.

Additionally, Mr. MacMasters is involved in the local community; serving on several board of directors and advisory committees.
