Tidewater Announces Addition to Marketing Team

Tidewater Physical Therapy is pleased to announce the addition of Caroline Cheney as Marketing and Community Outreach Coordinator for six of the company’s 13 clinics that comprise the “South Richmond” region.

Cheney brings to Tidewater Physical Therapy experience working in the health care field and a background in business development and event marketing and operations.

Cheney said her previous work as a pharmaceutical representative, in which she was working with doctors and in medical offices, and in the operations and business development for a Richmond organization that works with special needs children, lends itself well to her work with Tidewater Physical Therapy.

“I like to be involved in positions where I help people,” Cheney said.Caroline Cheney-2 smaller

Cheney was also attracted to Tidewater Physical Therapy by the testimony of her mother, a client of the practice.

“For the past six months I’ve been listening to her tell stories about her excellent care,” Cheney said.

Cheney describes Tidewater Physical Therapy as an organization that’s dedicated to hands on care with an emphasis on high-quality, cost-effective physical therapy services.

“Its reputation is stellar,” Cheney said. “They are a welcoming company. You don’t feel like you’re jut a number. I want to send the message out to the public and to the medical community of the benefits of Tidewater Physical Therapy, the care their patients will receive and the large number of services that we offer.”

Paula Lumsden, Director of Marketing and Communications for Tidewater Physical Therapy, said Cheney brings a great energy to the position.

“We’re very excited about the vision Cheney has for the position and her passion to help people,” Lumsden said. “We think she’s a great fit for the Tidewater Physical Therapy culture and will help us continue our growth in Richmond.”

Cheney has lived in Richmond for 22 years and loves the community.

Cheney grew up in Charlotte, N.C., and completed her education at the College of Charleston in South Carolina. She is married and has a son who is a rising senior at Florida State University.
